| Enemy Reign Review in Terrorizer Magazine |
![]() Check it out everyone, 'Means to a Dead End' was reviewed in the March issue of Terrorizer! "Enemy Reign 'Means to a Dead End' SELF-RELEASED Remember Sherwood Webber from Skinless? Well he's back, and this time he's leading Enemy Reign, an admissibly ferocious, hate-filled and avenging band who have confidently taken control of their own fate and self-released their first EP. Musically, 'Means To A Dead End' is a concoction of late 90's Death Metal, Bay Area thrash and grindcore, hoarding some impressive growls and double bass footwork. Simplicity is the key riff-wise, showcasing East Coast hardcore sections delicately contrasted by killer solos and burly crushing breakdowns. Although a self-released CD, the qualityof production and music far exceeds any preconceptions regarding DIY releases and Webber's boisterous vocal attack has the ability to evoke violence and have the hairs on the back of your neck stand up in one go. Granted, they're doomed to forever be compared to Skinless, but look beyond that and this is a hard-hitting metal release, which more than deserves to be checked out on its own accord. www.enemyreign.com [6] Anna Meacham"
